Dr. Mina Zarei, MD is a Fellowship-trained, Double Board-Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon with over five years of experience specializing in skin cancer treatment, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Based in Orange County, California, Dr. Zarei, offers expert care in skin cancer management, minimally-invasive aesthetic treatments, and a broad range of medical dermatology conditions.

Dr. Zarei is a graduate of University of Miami, where she completed a comprehensive dermatology and cutaneous surgery residency. During this time, Dr. Zarei was awarded the Best Surgery Resident award for academic excellence in cutaneous surgery. 

Dr. Zarei, completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Reconstructive Surgery at the Emory School of Medicine, one of the top programs in the country for skin cancer treatment. Mohs surgery is the most effective treatment for non-melanoma skin cancers and offers the highest cure rates. Dr. Zarei, has performed hundreds of Mohs procedures and skin cancer reconstructions to restore the skin’s appearance following cancer removal.

Dr. Zarei has contributed to 42 published research papers in scientific journals and has presented at national dermatology conferences. She is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and other professional societies.

Dr. Zarei is committed to providing patients in Laguna Niguel with the most advanced, patient-centered dermatologic care. In her free time, Dr. Zarei enjoys traveling, gardening, and hiking. She is fluent in Farsi, Spanish, and Turkish, offering accessibility to a diverse range of patients.
